Civil Engineer - Site Engineer - Civils - Utilities - Infrastructure - Dublin - Meath - Louth

Your New Role & Responsibilities:
There are multiple positions available across the greater Dublin area. These consist of infrastructure and utilities work.
These positions are predominantly paid on an hourly rate basis (you will be paid for every hour you work on site).

Selection of Duties:
  • Support the planning, organisation, and the delivery of projects across various scopes and stages.
  • Co-ordinate daily site operations, ensuring project targets are met.
  • Aid in the organisation of labour, plant, and materials, while monitoring productivity and cost efficiency on site.
  • Champion health and safety standards and maintain accurate site records in line with industry standards and compliance regulations.
  • Contribute to project scheduling, including weekly and daily work plans, while maintaining clear communication of deliverables to the workforce.
  • Co-ordinate both direct labour and subcontractors to maintain perfect alignment throughout the execution of the project.
  • Carry out setting-out duties, conduct regular checks on measurements etc. to support the quality and accuracy of construction works.
  • Maintain daily site records, including diaries, resource allocations, and project progress updates.


What You'll Need to Succeed:
To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant civil engineering qualification, alongside a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar site-based engineering role within civil or infrastructure projects. You will need strong technical capabilities, alongside being proficient in using core engineering software.
A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, construction standards and engineering processes is essential. Additionally, the ability to work effectively with clients, design teams, and site personnel is a must.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, meticulous, and capable of working on their own initiative.

What You'll Get in Return:

You will be given the option of either an hourly rate or a salary.
The hourly rate on offer typically ranges from €22 to €26 per hour depending on experience level. This corresponds to an annual salary in the region of
(€50,000–€60,000, based on a 45–50 hour working week.) – This can be a PAYE or self-employed basis.

Salaries are offered in the region of €55,000 – €65,000 + either a vehicle or allowances and performance bonuses / pension contribution etc.
Your experience level and what you can bring to the team will dictate where you fall in that range.

You can also expect regular reviews as you progress, with clear opportunities to develop your skills and take on more responsibility. It’s a strong time to join the team, with ongoing expansion and a growing pipeline of substantial civils projects.
