Your New Role
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in delivering a wide range of consultancy services, including Technical Due Diligence, Pre-Acquisition and Pre-Disposal surveys, Defects Analysis, Dilapidations, and Landlord & Tenant advisory. You’ll work closely with clients across various sectors, contributing to both standalone and multi-disciplinary projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, high-performing team and make a real impact as the department continues to grow.


What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline (e.g. engineering or construction)
  • Chartered status with RICS/SCSI and/or Registered Building Surveyor
  • Strong technical knowledge of building construction, materials, and systems
  • Experience in identifying building defects and providing rectification advice
  • Familiarity with Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and property law
  • Proven experience in dilapidations and Landlord & Tenant matters
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport
Desirable:
  • Experience in contract administration and project management
  • Knowledge of energy retrofitting, low-carbon design, and ESG principles
