As Business Manager - Critical Care & Medical, you will join a leading sales, marketing and technical services company who strive to assist healthcare providers achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Your new role is field based (nationwide) and is permanent.

Your new role

As Business Manager - Critical Care & Medical, you will be responsible for increasing sales volume and revenue through medical device product sales year-on-year.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to deliver revenue, margin, and profitability objectives
  • Oversee gross margin, cost-to-serve, and operating expenses to maintain sustainable profitability
  • Generate regular sales and financial reports, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts using structured pipeline management and demand planning
  • Evaluate sales performance, market trends, and customer behaviour to uncover risks, opportunities, and growth areas
  • Present key insights, trend analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive retention, growth, and profitability
  • Lead and manage a team of Product Specialists to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide clear leadership by communicating vision, empowering the team, and recognising individual and team success
  • Recruit, develop, and train team members to strengthen capability and performance.
  • Conduct field visits to enhance sales capability and support revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key supplier stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new customers and market opportunities through targeted research
  • Manage national accounts to drive strategic growth and long-term partnerships
  • Lead and coordinate tender and bid processes to secure new business
  • Build and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to support market influence.
  • Establish and expand a strong, sustainable customer network

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally have recent relevant experience in a high-performance sales team. A strong understanding of P&L management, margin control, and cost management down to NP1along with the ability to translate financial data into actionable commercial decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management is required. Performance management, coaching, and accountability setting experience is necessary. You will have excellent communications with proven networking and influencing skills. The ability to manage pressure, deadlines and setbacks efficiently is required. You will have a full clean Irish Driving licence with the ability to travel frequently nationwide.
