Your responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across key sectors such as FMCG, agriculture, catering, and industrial packaging.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and solutions that align customer needs with sustainable product offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high-quality service for new clients.
  • Support senior commercial leadership in managing key accounts and maintaining long-lasting client relationships.
  • Conduct market research and analyse competitors to inform strategic decisions and future product development.
  • Represent the organisation at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline updates through CRM systems.
  • Monitor and report on business development performance and revenue targets.
Preferred Experience:
  • Working with clients in FMCG, agriculture, catering, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with recycled materials, packaging regulations, or sustainability reporting.
  • Experience with public or private sector procurement processes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years’ experience in business development, sales, or related commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B environments, ideally within manufacturing, packaging, recycling, or sustainability-focused industries.
  • Strong understanding of circular economy principles and the ability to communicate sustainability-led value propositions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven sales approaches.

What you'll get in return

  • A senior commercial role with responsibility for shaping business growth across multiple sectors.
  • The opportunity to work within an organisation committed to sustainability and circular economy innovation.
  • Exposure to major clients across diverse industries.
  • Professional development opportunities and a progressive working environment.
