Your new role

As a Business Analyst – AML, you will play a key role in analysing new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and evaluating existing business processes. Your main objective will be to create a detailed and actionable requirements backlog to support future technical design and implementation phases.
You will:
  • Analyse upcoming AML regulatory packages and their business impact
  • Conduct gap analysis (as-is vs. to-be) on key AML and onboarding processes
  • Facilitate workshops to gather and validate requirements
  • Produce high-quality documentation with limited supervision
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across compliance, operations, and technology teams
  • Support the definition and tracking of a detailed BA work plan
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and regulatory alignment

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally with a focus on AML or financial crime
  • Strong background in regulatory analysis, requirements elicitation, and process mapping
  • Experience conducting gap analyses and working with stakeholders to define business needs
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and translate complex concepts into actionable deliverables
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and agile project environments is advantageous.
