Job Description of Building Surveyor:

• Conduct Site visits.
  You will be responsible for surveying houses for energy retrofits. This includes all aspects of house inspections, including taking accurate measurements for all aspects being retrofitted.
• You will need to access people’s attics.
• Take photos of all aspects and rooms in each house.
• Proficiency in preparing accurate documentation pre- and post-site visits.
• Assist Project Manager and others in surveying and preparing associated documentation
• Knowledge of building industry rules and regulations for construction, heating, plumbing and energy systems
• Adherence to Health and Safety at all times pertaining to the relevant materials and systems being employed.
• Knowledge of ISO systems and compliance with same

• Degree qualified in a construction related course and / or relevant experience in a similar role will be considered.
• Full clean driving licence

• High level of accuracy when taking measurements, photos and completing documentation
• Able to engage confidently with homeowners, clients, site agents and subcontractors
• A competent user of IT systems, including MS Office suite, and knowledge of SharePoint is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive and results orientated.
