BIM Modeller / Technician – HVAC Experience Essential

Your New Company
Your new company has extensive experience with new build developments, refurbishments and upgrade projects over the years. They are fully aware of the roles, responsibilities, and duties that their Company must provide to bring projects from their initial inception through the design and build stages and finally to successful completion and handover to the client.
As a privately owned practice specialising in all aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering, they ensure that all projects are Director-led and overseen by their in-house engineering team, guaranteeing that their clients receive a knowledgeable and responsive service, no matter how complex or challenging the work.

Your New Role
In your new role as BIM Modeller / Technician, you will have the below responsibilities:
  • Follow Revit/CAD Designer standards and development procedures.
  • BIM MEP Modelling across Mechanical and Electrical Services.
  • Adhere to the BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
  • Using Revit MEP/ AutoCAD for drawing production including General Arrangements, Sections and Detail Views.
  • Resolve clashes across Mechanical and Electrical Services using Revit software.
  • Coordinating design with other stakeholders
  • Participating in meetings and design reviews
  • Working to deadlines whilst producing the highest quality of work
  • Help develop and implement BIM processes throughout the business.
  • Experience in engineering software (e.g. Dialux & Amtech) advantageous, but not essential.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Relevant Mechanical or Building Services Engineering degree (level 8)
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the role of BIM Modeller / Technician for a M&E Consultancy or Contractor.
  • Strong experience working on HVAC systems.
  • Recognised formal training in REVIT MEP
  • Ability to work to deadlines & to a high standard.
