One of Ireland’s largest financial companies with over 200 locations nationwide, which provides a diverse range of services in banking, financial and related services, is currently seeking a Base 24 Specialist to work within a busy branch located in Dublin.

Your new role

• Design, Develop, and Maintain Base24 Applications:This involves coding, testing, and debugging Base24 applications to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and security standards.
• Translate Business Requirements:Working with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications and solutions within the Base24 environment.
• Project Support:Contributing to various projects, including migrations, upgrades, and implementation of new features.
• Compliance:Ensuring that Base24 applications adhere to relevant regulations and standards, especially within the financial industry.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:Diagnosing and resolving technical issues that may arise with Base24 applications.
• Knowledge Sharing:Contributing to the knowledge base and mentoring junior developers.
• ATM/POS Expertise:Understanding of ATM/POS technologies and payment systems can be a valuable asset.

What you'll need to succeed

• Base24 Classic Experience:Solid experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting applications on the Base24 Classic platform is essential.
• HP NonStop:Familiarity with the HP NonStop operating system, which is often used with Base24, is often required.
• Card Payments Industry:Knowledge of the card payments industry, including regulations and standards, is highly beneficial.
• Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Base24 environment.
• Communication:Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
