Your new role

• Lead audit engagements and ensure audit files are completed in a timely manner
• Follow audit practices and procedures in accordance with International Standards in Auditing
• Prepare audit workpapers in support of the audit report
• Conduct process interviews, document narratives, analyse process controls and perform testing of key controls.
• Make recommendations to clients that address risks and control weaknesses
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of audit reports which are shared with directors and shareholders.
• Participate in client calls
• Be able to guide, coach and provide supervision to audit staff. Your management of the staff has a big impact on how well they develop and progress.
• Reporting directly to partners and managers on audit issues
• Developing audit client relationships
• Working within audit budgets

What you'll need to succeed

• New Qualified / Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA with a minimum of 2–3 years in practice

• Strong knowledge of FRS102 and Companies Act 2014

• Audit experience is essential

• Experience of consolidation and group accounts is a distinct advantage.
