Your New Role
As an Associate Traffic & Transport Engineer, you will play a strategic leadership role in the development and delivery of transport and mobility projects. You’ll oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading complex traffic engineering and transport planning projects from concept to completion.
  • Providing technical oversight and quality assurance across transport deliverables.
  • Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to shape transport strategies.
  • Supporting the development of junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Contributing to strategic planning and growth of the transport division

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • A Level 8+ Honours Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, with significant leadership in Irish consultancy projects.
  • Deep knowledge of Irish transport standards (TII, DMURS, NTA) and planning frameworks.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic modelling tools (e.g. Picady, Arcady, Transyt).
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage clients, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience in business development or proposal writing.


What You’ll Get in Return
