Architectural Technologist - Limerick - Permanent

A leading architectural and urban design practice with a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects across multiple sectors in Ireland. The team combines architecture, interior design, and technical expertise, working collaboratively to create innovative and sustainable solutions. They are seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our Limerick studio. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge and experience in delivering detailed design packages, with a strong understanding of Irish building regulations and compliance requirements.

Your new role

  • Assist in the preparation of detailed design and construction documentation across all project stages.
  • Support the submission of statutory applications, including planning, fire safety certificates, and disability access certificates.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire safety, and accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Work within Revit and BIM workflows to produce accurate technical drawings and models.
  • Contribute to a collaborative studio environment and support project coordination.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3–5 years post-qualification experience in an architectural practice.
  • Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and statutory permissions.
  • Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
  • Solid technical knowledge of construction detailing and delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience across multiple sectors such as commercial, healthcare, or mixed-use projects.
  • Familiarity with BCAR compliance processes.
  • Interest in sustainable design and low-carbon methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ISO19650 Information Management Process and BIM Execution Plans.
