Architectural Technologist – Permanent – Longford

Your new company

Our client is a Longford based company specialising in offsite modular construction, delivering bespoke products for rapid installation. Their solutions serve luxury hotels, high-rise apartments, and student accommodation projects. With a focus on efficiency, quality, and sustainability, they streamline building processes through precision engineering. Combining design, manufacturing, and installation expertise, they offer turnkey solutions for large scale developments.

Your new role

They are currently producing 30 units per week across six lines, supported by a team of 25 employees and three supervisors overseeing all stages from pre-assembly to production. As an Architectural Technician, you will take ownership of technical drawings and models using CAD software, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. You’ll collaborate with architects, engineers, and production teams, conduct site visits, and support projects from concept to completion.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architectural Technology, excellent technical skills in Revit for modeling and detailed drawings, along with a strong understanding of Irish and UK building codes. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective communication are essential. You should be able to interpret technical drawings, work collaboratively with designers and project managers, and demonstrate organisational skills. Knowledge of construction materials and principles is also required.

What you'll get in return

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast growing modular construction environment, contributing to innovative projects that streamline building processes. You will gain experience in off-site manufacturing, collaborate with a skilled team, and develop expertise in cutting-edge design and production methods. Competitive salary and career development opportunities are included.
