Your new role

In your new role as a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts in early arrears across a range of financial products. You will follow a structured collections' strategy, engage with customers via inbound and outbound calls, and apply a clear negotiation hierarchy to achieve effective outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include processing payments, monitoring direct debits, maintaining accurate case notes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in supporting the wider collections team and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to have at least 3 years of experience in collections or a similar customer-facing financial role. An APA or QFA qualification is mandatory, and a degree in Business or Finance is preferred. You will be a conscientious professional who takes full ownership of your portfolio, with strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure. You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of adapting to individual customer needs while following structured processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
