Plant Mechanic / Fitter – Mullingar – Westmeath

We are seeking an experienced and versatile All-Round Mechanic to join our team. This role involves working primarily on Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), performing a wide range of tasks including repairs, servicing, and hydraulic system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on HGVs and related equipment
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Work on hydraulic systems and components
  • Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with HGVs
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and vehicle systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanics (desired)
  • Full, clean driving licence
