Your new role
- Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure for managed properties.
- Process and reconcile property income, service charges, and related transactions.
- Monitor operating expenses, utilities, maintenance, and contractor invoices.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Support rent reviews and service charge reconciliations.
- Reconcile arrears and liaise with property and letting managers.
- Maintain asset registers, rental schedules, and financial records.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, and suppliers regarding financial queries.
- Prepare reports for internal meetings and leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, lease agreements, and statutory obligations.
- Provide financial and administrative support to the Asset Management team.
- Contribute to strategic reporting for leadership and governance bodies.
- Develop key partnerships and support service delivery and growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively develop technical, management, and leadership skills.
- Carry out other duties as required by evolving operational needs.
What you'll need to succeed
- ATI (Level 6) qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within property, real estate, or asset management.
- Familiarity with lease structures, rent, service charges, and property-related financial processes.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Solutions-focused and results-driven.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
