Accounts payable specialist required for growing SME - salary to €46,000 DOE - Permanent

Your new company

This business services company who started trading over 25 years ago, and have since grown year-on-year. Based in West Dublin, they are seeking an experienced AP specialist to join the finance team. This role is based near Luas transport lines, multiple bus routes to and from the city centre and train line close by serving Kildare and further. There is ample parking on site and hybrid working is possible after probation.

Your new role

You will be tasked with duties such as :

  • Supplier invoice processing
  • Matching and coding invoices
  • Raise PO numbers where required
  • Reconciliation on a weekly basis
  • Prepare and process weekly payment runs
  • Prepare monthly reports on key areas within payables including GRNI
  • Assist with the set-up of new suppliers
  • Address any queries or discrepancies that arise
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and maintain open communications channels

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered, you must have the below :

  • 3–5 years experience working in an accounts payable role, ideally within an SME background
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work well on your own initiative and with others
  • ATI qualified or part-qualified ACCA
  • Fluent written and spoken English
