Your new role
This is a full-time, permanent Accounts Assistant position based fully on-site in Ballinrobe, with working hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key duties include:
  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices and managing the accounts payable function end-to-end
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with company procedures
  • Preparing and executing supplier payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Assisting with accounts receivable tasks when required, including invoice generation and cash allocation
  • Supporting payroll processing using BrightPay, including data entry and assisting with monthly payroll cycles
  • Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with month-end close activities
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit requirements where necessary

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or finance role is essential
  • Strong accounts payable experience is required
  • Exposure to accounts receivable is beneficial but not essential
  • Payroll experience is desirable; familiarity with BrightPay would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
