Your new role
This is a full-time, permanent Accounts Assistant position based fully on-site in Ballinrobe, with working hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices and managing the accounts payable function end-to-end
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with company procedures
- Preparing and executing supplier payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assisting with accounts receivable tasks when required, including invoice generation and cash allocation
- Supporting payroll processing using BrightPay, including data entry and assisting with monthly payroll cycles
- Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with month-end close activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit requirements where necessary
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or finance role is essential
- Strong accounts payable experience is required
- Exposure to accounts receivable is beneficial but not essential
- Payroll experience is desirable; familiarity with BrightPay would be a distinct advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a high volume of transactions
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
