Your new role
As Accounting Manager, you will oversee reporting and compliance for seven Irish-registered companies. You’ll manage a small team of three (Accounts Assistant, VAT & Tax Specialist, and yourself as supervisor) while liaising with the wider finance team of 15, including AR, AP, banking, and management accounting.
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing journals and financial reporting for seven Irish entities
• Liaising with the consolidation department in Paris and treasury teams
• Working closely with international teams in Germany, UK, India, and Paris
• Overseeing VAT and tax compliance requirements
• Managing company registration and Irish compliance obligations
• Leading on financial statements, year-end reporting, and budgeting
• Supporting ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
• 3–5 years’ industry experience, ideally within a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of Irish accounting requirements, tax, and VAT
• Hands-on experience with accounting journals and IFRS reporting standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to mix well with the team and liaise internationally
• Open-minded, flexible, and resilient under deadlines and pressure
• French language skills advantageous but not essential
• Available to start in January or as soon as possible
