Your new company

You will join a small accounting practice working directly with the owner. This is a newly created role due to growth in the business. Their culture is informal, friendly, and supportive, and they have a great work-life balance with only 1 day in the office.

Your new role

• Help with clients on-boarding and be their point of contact
• Prepare year-end accounts/ financial statements for sole traders and limited companies
• Prepare and file corporation tax returns, income tax returns
• Conduct co-sec work, prepare and file B1, B10’s, Share transfers etc.
• Budgeting / forecasting for clients
• Assist with advising clients in areas such as tax planning, business advice, funding applications, or carrying out tax and advisory projects.
• Team Management – 5 employees

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be someone who is collaborative, with a positive can-do attitude, and is willing to be flexible to meet the requirements of this role.
• You will be a qualified accountant – ACCA/ CPA/ CIMA/ ACA.
• 5+ years accounting practice experience in Ireland in a small/medium practice
• Technically strong across accounting, income tax, corporation tax, vat, and payroll (an advantage),
