Your new role

As the Qualified Accountant, you’ll take ownership of key financial processes and contribute to the smooth running of the finance function. Reporting to the Financial Controller and CFO, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Producing quarterly management accounts and year-end financial statements
  • Assisting with external audits and reviewing general ledgers for variances
  • Managing VAT, RCT, and corporation tax compliance
  • Overseeing the Accounts Payable function and subcontractor payments
  • Supporting special projects and ensuring statutory filings are up-to-date
  • Handling ad hoc financial tasks as needed

    This is a varied and hands-on role, offering autonomy and the chance to make a meaningful impact.

    What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA)
  • Industry experience (experience in a project-based or operational environment is an advantage)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and financial systems knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • A team-oriented attitude and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment
