Seeking an Experienced Airfreight Export Operator in Dublin
Your new company
Our client is a leading logistics company in Ireland. Their customers range from small Irish companies to MNC’s and their requirements range from moving a pallet across the Irish Sea to a complex solution to the Logistics element of their Supply Chain involving movement by Air, Ocean and Road. Established over 50 years ago in Dublin, they are seeking an Airfreight Export Operator to join their team.
Your new role
As Airfreight Export Operator, your role is to provide a professional and efficient operations service to both internal and external customers.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Processing shipment bookings
- Monitoring shipments from point of customer booking to arrival at final destination and customer payment
- Providing a high level of Customer Service to both internal and external customers
- Liaising with airlines to ensure that the best possible rate and transit time are secured
- Liaising with warehouse and transport personnel regarding collections and the warehouse processing of airfreight shipments
- Labelling freight for export
- Processing Sales and Purchase Invoices, and dealing with any queries relating to Customer / Creditor invoices.
- Dealing with rate requests and issuing quotations
- Development of Airfreight service
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 2–5 years experience in a freight forwarding role
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to multitaskHigh level of attention to detail
Team Player
