Your new company

As Diploma Course Administrator, you will join an educational, regulatory, and representative body for working professionals in Ireland within their education department in the Diploma Centre. Your new organisation aims to provide support and advice to its membership professionals in their day-to-day practice through education, training courses and advisory services. Your new office is in Dublin City and is accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team on a 2-year FTC. You will have a hybrid work model after your training period.


Your new role

As Diploma Course Administrator, your duties will include but are not limited to supporting course leaders in a full range of administrative activities; working with course leaders to prepare a range of documentation for Diploma Centre programmes (timetables, faculty booklets, course handbooks); welcoming students onsite and online for each session; managing course data on database systems; liaising with the IT department regarding issues relating to course delivery; processing payments for lecturers and tutors; updating the virtual learning environment (Moodle) for courses on a weekly basis; answering a high volume of student queries by email and phone; assisting with the course assessments and all other general administrative and ad-hoc duties that fall into your new role.

What you'll need to succeed

To become Diploma Course Administrator, you will ideally have recent relevant experience in a similar role, knowledge of third level/professional systems is required. You will be able to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines on an ongoing basis. This role requires excellent attention to detail along with strong communication, organisational and IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Demonstrable proficiency in using database and spreadsheet systems, in particular excellent knowledge of Excel is essential.
