Finance Business Partner

Your new company

A leading logistics provider is seeking a Finance Business Partner for a state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre. This role will be dedicated to supporting a major retail customer, ensuring financial insights drive cost reductions, productivity improvements, and operational efficiencies.

Your new role

Reporting to the Site General Manager, you will be a critical finance partner to senior leadership. This role is more than reporting numbers; it requires strategic business partnering, performance analysis, and process improvement.

  • Business Partnering - Providing financial insights to both internal leadership teams and the customer
  • Performance Analysis - Generating dashboards, metrics, and KPI-driven insights
  • Driving Efficiency - Identifying and leading investment opportunities for cost savings and productivity improvements
  • Influencing Change - Proactively engaging with operations to drive business performance
  • Financial Reporting - Routine presentation of weekly results, with a structured weekly pack every Thursday.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3–5 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience in commercial finance within distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain
  • Retail experience considered if it includes warehouse exposure
  • Ability to push back, influence decisions, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Data-driven mindset, strong Excel analysis & expertise in data consolidation and reporting tools
  • Proactive, resilient, and engaged, walking the floor and actively driving change.
