Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of multiple residential developments, from land acquisition through to final handover. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost planning, procurement, and financial control across a portfolio of new-build housing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Conduct tender analysis and manage subcontractor procurement and negotiation.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
  • Ensure cost-control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assess value variations, manage interim payments, and agree final accounts.
  • Liaise with site teams, architects, engineers, and external consultants to ensure commercial objectives are met.
  • Support the development of junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
