Compliance Officer, Galway

Your new company

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources team within an excellent organisation based in Galway. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping their workforce for success.

Your new role

As the Compliance Officer, you will:
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and National Standards and adherence to Professional Regulatory bodies.
  • You will stay informed on standards and government publications for services in the disability sector.
  • Maintain accurate HR systems/electronic filing in a timely manner and ensure up-to-date personnel records, HR metrics, and statistics
  • Proper archiving of files and preparation of information as per requests from relevant authorities are vital tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant circulars, policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as adhere to GDPR guidelines.
  • Review and maintain NPR Registrations, promote dignity at work, and comply with safety regulations as well as other duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

As the successful candidate, you will have:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in HR or professional membership of CIPD.
  • High proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • 3-5 years of administration experience, including working with computer databases.
  • Proven track record in high-volume recruitment data entry.
  • Possession of a full clean driving license.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong research and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Change management and adaptability capabilities.
