Financial Controller

A family-owned manufacturing organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. This company is well-established in the market and there is plenty of opportunity to grow in this role.
Your new role
This role is crucial to the financial operations, where you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.- Management of a small finance team and overseeing all day-to-day financial activities of the business.
- Monthly journal upkeep.
- Production of weekly KPIs.
- Strategic input to the management team and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
- Weekly payroll.
- Annual audit and liaising with tax advisers.
- Cash flow management.
- Oversee product costings and advise on commercials.
- Annual plan review and recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) with at least 4 years of experience.
- Strong skills in balance sheets, Excel, SAP, and Sage.
- Commercial mindset with an understanding of pricing, margins, and overall business operations.
- Self-starter with excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
In return for your expertise and dedication as a Financial Controller, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from €75k to €80k, with the potential for higher compensation based on your experience and qualifications. You will enjoy flexible working hours from 8am to 4:30pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. This is an office-based role in Dublin 11, due to it being a hands-on Financial Controller position. They offer a collaborative and supportive company culture that values teamwork and close collaboration across departments.
