An established SME business in the entertainment, hospitality and gambling industry based in Dublin are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their leadership team. Your new role

• Prepare and present management accounts pack
• Cashflow management and forecasting
• Prepare the annual budget and variance analysis reporting
• Develop and implement strong financial controls, particularly around cash management across different locations
• Ensure full statutory and tax compliance
• Support C-suite in devising and implementing the growth strategy for the business
• Review and approve AP and Payroll
• Provide strategic insights on company performance, drive long term financial planning including scenario planning and forecasting

What you'll need to succeed

• You must be a fully qualified accountant - small practice trained or industry-trained preferred, retail or hospitality experience beneficial but not required
• Ideally you will be an experienced Financial Controller, with a minimum of 5 years' PQE but ideally 10-15+ years PQE
• You must be happy to be a hands-on Financial Controller as this is an SME, but you will also have experience of working closely with C-Suite
• Strong cash-flow management experience is a big plus
• A people person who will immerse themselves in the business operations
• Strong corporate governance and ability to work to deadlines

What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a salary of €80,000 - €100,000. Your benefits will include bonus, healthcare, 25 days annual leave, flexibility on hours and hybrid and free parking in city centre.
