There is a requirement for a Brickie Foreman / Facade Manager based in Dublin 2 on a large commercial build and a requirement for a similar manager in Castleknock for a large scale residential apartment development.
The organisation operate across a range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Industrial and Data Centres.
There are active projects underway that require Foremen to join their team. You will assist them to deliver projects of the highest standard with an emphasis on safety, sustainability and quality
Your New Role
The current requirements are for large residential developments/commercial builds
This position can either be paid on an hourly basis or on a direct salary.
- As a Foreman, you will be required to demonstrate capability and experience in dealing with and managing challenging projects.
- This position is for ambitious, experienced tradesman / or foreman looking to progress in their career. You will have excellent communication skills with a proven record working and managing (be it small teams) on projects within the Irish / UK construction industry.
- You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will be supported in your role by other management within the organisation and career progression is very much available. This is a great opportunity to join a well established main contractor with a pipeline of works for the next several years.
What You'll Need To Succeed
In order to be successful in this position, you must have previously been in a management position with a construction contractor. This can be as a Brickie Supervisor or foreman etc.
Coming from a carpentry or brickie trade background is sought after, while having a keen eye for detail and a natural flair for management on site.
You must be able to work on your own initiative and have a high respect for on-site health & safety. This role will suit a long-time carpenter / bricklayer / working foreman or someone experienced in a management position over the last 5+ years.
What You'll Get in Return
In return for the above, you will work for a main construction contractor who value their employees and offer a clear progression path to more senior management levels.
They have a great reputation within the industry and have very strong senior management in place - delivering high-profile projects. They have a pipeline of projects valued at over €100m each for the next five years.
You will be paid either by the hour or on a salary. Hourly rates are in a bracket of €27 to €36 Per hour.
(typically 50 hour weeks - good money to be made) This would include PAYE OR Self-Employed setup.

In terms of an offered salary, this would be in the region of €65,000 to €75,000 and would come with a vehicle/travel. Pension etc is also typically offered.
It's a great time to join their expanding organisation. There is typically a review after 6 months regarding performance and salaries/rates.
