.NET Software Developer to build impactful software for scientific and environmental programmes

We’re seeking a .NET Software Developer to join our Application Development team, supporting critical scientific and environmental programmes. This role offers the chance to work on meaningful projects in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software for data processing, analysis, and stakeholder reporting.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.

  • Support existing systems and contribute to continuous improvement in tools and processes.

  • Promote best practices in software development and integration.

    What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, REST APIs, and SQL Server.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualification or relevant work experience.

  • Exposure to CI/CD, automated testing, scientific data, or map-based applications.

  • Interest in cloud, mobile, or IoT technologies.
