Your new role

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic or HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and performing routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles. You will work closely with a team of experienced technicians and contribute to the smooth running of the workshop.

• Conducting diagnostics and fault-finding using modern tools and equipment
• Performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Completing vehicle inspections and roadworthiness checks
• Maintaining accurate service records and job cards
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Liaising with customers and team members to ensure high service levels

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade qualification as a mechanic (Light Vehicle or HGV)
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full driving licence
• A positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
