Hays Global Skills IndexAn experienced supply chain and operations professional with a passion for project/process management and data analysis. This candidate has extensive experience in merchandising, finance, forecast management & design, customer service, supplier management and contract negotiation project management, process design/re-engineering.
Currently they are the procurement/category manager in a global IT organisation. As part of this role, they have been involved in creating the ‘Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment’ CPFR model and integrating data from SAP and SQL Databases. They also oversee continuous improvement projects to extend the capabilities of the ERP system to support the end to end supply chain, covering master data management, supply/demand planning and forecasting, inventory management and all aspects of reporting. Managing the CPFR model enables the team to achieve stock percentage targets while enabling them to focus on supporting sales targets and minimise stock holding. Over the past 4 years, they have been responsible for the launches of some key products, devices and accessories as well as overseeing the doubling of the SKU count from roughly 800 to over 2,000.
In their previous role as supply chain program manager they were responsible for managing a particular area of manufacturing and shipment to the company’s partners through five outsourced manufacturing partners and one shipping vendor across EMEA to ensure compliant and timely worldwide delivery. Main areas of focus included performance management, continuous process improvement, launch readiness and operations management. This involved working closely with the management teams of partners as well as internal Legal, Financial, Policy and Anti-Piracy teams.
This candidate is highly computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Data Modelling and Analysis tools, SAP ERP and APO, SQL Server, CRM and BI tools (Power BI and Tableau). They are Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified, have a Diploma in Operations Management, and are currently working towards a MSc in Operations Management.
