Senior Process/Project Engineer

Senior Process/Project Engineer with extensive experience in various Process and Project Engineering activities, encompassing a number of feasibility studies, pre-FEED, front-end engineering, detailed engineering, project execution, commissioning, operation, debottlenecking in the field of complex bio-pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical projects, mainly within multi-national clients that would include facility design, existing facility upgrades, process retro-fits and NPI.

After initially developing their career within the Oil & Gas sector, they have most recently been heavily involved in the Bio-Pharma sector working on some large scale projects within multinational clients, operating as Senior Process/Process Design and Project Engineer. These projects have included:

- The facility layout and design for a new purification suite
- Key study to support the potential increase in production capacity of large scale Pharma manufacturing site
- New Bio-Facility set up to manufacture Bulk API on a greenfield site
- New Manufacturing suite for the ramp up in production and manufacturing of Pharma products

- Developing Vendor Specification
- P&ID Design and Development.
- Process Design & Project Engineering.
- Facility Operation & Layout Design.
- Plant Utilities, Steam, Relief, RO, DIW, PUW & WFI Systems.
- Purification. CIP / SIP.
- C & Q.
- High Containment Design & Material Handling.
- Powder Milling & Particle reduction, Autoclaves.
- Pressure Relief & complex Calculations.
- Equipment Selection & TBA.
- Commissioning and Troubleshooting
- Writing SOPs, Training the operators & mentoring young engineers.
