Payroll & HR Supervisor

Experienced Payroll Supervisor with 15+years’ extensive experience in the payroll & HR field, in previous roles enjoyed leading a successful and productive team, responsible for ensuring all payrolls delivered were timely accurate and aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements across several legal entities. Honest, dependable and punctual, and can demonstrate the commitment and motivation required to deliver an excellent level of service. Strong communication, interpersonal and people skills.

Most Recent Experience:

•Manage a monthly payroll timetable to ensure monthly payroll processing timelines are met, whilst allowing sufficient time for reviews
•Work with various departments on accuracy and timing of data received
•Assigning work amongst the Payroll Specialists to ensure all timelines are met, whilst the work is shared equally
•Supervise the workload to maintain sufficient independence from the processing to allow for independent review
•Conduct review procedures and prepare files for review by AP & Payroll Manager / Senior Manager, Financial Reporting.
•Review processes and align, where possible, the procedures for payroll across all entities.
•Review monthly reconciliations for all payroll elements and payments across to HMRC and other third parties.
•Lead the team in preparing monthly journals for payroll, pensions and employee advances, to ensuring they are correctly reflected in the Oracle ledgers
•Ensure the team maintain monthly the stocks transactions from the US stocks schemes, review and reconcile records monthly.
•Prepare monthly dashboard/metrics for Accounting senior management

Payroll compliance & reporting

•Develop and maintain an annual reporting timetable, incorporating all regulatory filing requirements for payroll across all entities, liaising with external in country experts as required
•Integral role in all annual filing requirements, ensuring they are met in a timely manner, with sufficient review (includes P60, P11d, Stocks Reporting and overseas equivalents)

Global Mobility

•Coordinate the tracking of globally mobile employees, ensuring necessary actions are taken in relevant payrolls
•Review and validate submissions for Company annual returns
•Assisting external tax advisors, Internal Tax department and employees with modified and shadow payroll, as well as collating data for completing and filing Self-Assessments
•Creating and filing Short Term Business Visitors Report to HMRC



Other Duties

•Motivate, the Payroll Specialists within the team to achieve their maximum potential
•Assisting in keeping up to date with legislation notifications and ensuring the payrolls are compliant in all areas of processing and submissions
•Managing the process of setting-up new elements and benefits in Payroll
•Managing on-going and upcoming projects
•Performing best practice reviews on current processes
•Standardising payroll practices across all International Payroll entities
