Hays Global Skills IndexExcellent in person and comes across very well in interview. Having begun their career in clerical during their college and masters, progressed to office management. Initially managed an office of about 20 staff in a marketing agency where they were responsible for on-boarding new staff, facilities, front of house, reception, calls and PA duties for the senior management team.
From there they progressed to a Legal Office specialising in corporate clients with a firm of 50 staff across 2 offices as the Office Manager. Worked here for 4 years and as the office manager/PA, ran the front of house, facilities, maintaining bookkeeping system through monthly financial reports, preparing collations, reports and presentations. Handling of the personnel department including preparing contracts, payrolls and transfers with salaries for the staff. Monitoring and recording hours worked including overtime, vacation and sick leave and maintaining office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
In their current role this candidate is a contract with a Bank as the department’s office manager and support for an E-Commerce team.
