One of Ireland’s largest financial companies with over 200 locations nationwide, which provides a diverse range of services in banking, financial and related services, is currently seeking a Digi Ops (IT Support Technician) to work within a busy branch located in Central Park, Dublin.
Your new role
The DigiOps team is a key component of the ESASS (Enterprise Simplified and Sustainable Servicing) Strategic Delivery Programme. Our objective is to enable and support operational technology change across the organisation. DigiOps is at an exciting stage of transformation as we start to apply our efficiency initiatives across the wider organisation.
We collaborate closely with business units across the organisation, the wider ESASS programme, internal IT teams, and third-party partners to deliver high-impact projects focused on process re-engineering and digital solution design. Our team brings strong expertise in business and process analysis, with deep experience in methodologies such as Lean and change delivery.
There are several significant streams within ESASS—both ongoing and upcoming—that present excellent opportunities for team members to contribute to major developments and gain hands-on experience in transformation and analytical work.
The DigiOps Technical & Innovation Support team plays a critical role in enabling digital transformation. This team partners with development teams where needed, supports change initiatives delivered through DigiOps, and manages regular risk and control processes. Additionally, the team oversees Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as process controllers—driving operational efficiency through the digital workforce.
This is a high-profile role, offering the opportunity to work across multiple business functions, collaborate with DigiOps' Offshoring Technology Team, and engage closely with the organisation's broader technology teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Managing the scheduling and monitoring of RPA processes as well as incident and change management co-ordination.
- They will lead for RPA process owners on the facilitation of an ongoing service review framework to ensure the maximisation of the RPA technology performance and utilisation.
- They will monitor business and process exceptions and offer insights and analysis that improve performance and exception rates.
- They will be responsible for engagement with process owners, IT and developers where issue escalation is required.
- As the role holder, you will develop and build upon strong relationships with the Customer Services Business Teams, other business units across the organisation and CTO/Digital and will be empowered to build on and refine the RPA operating model.
- Assist with the implementation of strategic solutions to business teams, acting as a point of communication.
- Working with multiple teams to ensure key messages are documented and logged and information is travelled and submitted correctly.
What you'll need to succeed
- Familiarity with RPA, Lean methodologies, or process improvement.
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building abilities.
- Solid technical know-how, with a hunger to learn more.
- Good understanding of how business processes work, especially service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Proficient in tools like Excel and willing to master other digital tools.
