Finance Manager – Meath

Your new role
As Finance Manager, you will report to the Financial Controller, who will support you as he steps into a more operational role. This is a hands‑on position where you will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations and play a key role in strengthening processes as the business continues to scale.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing AP, AR, payroll, and monthly management accounts
Preparing accruals, prepayments, and stock valuation journals
Leading sales invoicing (approx. 18 invoices per month) and ensuring compliance with 60‑day terms
Completing weekly bank reconciliations and payroll processing
Supporting international trading activities in Holland and Switzerland
Working closely with production teams (office presence important)
Assisting with forecasting and financial planning as revenue grows
Driving process improvements and supporting system enhancements
Maintaining strong financial controls in a fast‑growing environment

What you'll need to succeed
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
Experience in an SME or hands‑on finance role
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Construction sector experience and RCT knowledge are advantageous
A steady, reliable approach and the desire for a long‑term local role
Comfortable working closely with operations in a growing business
