Customer Service Agent | Cork (North West) | Perm

Your new role

As a Customer Service Agent, you will be office‑based and report to the Customer Care leadership team. Your role will be key in ensuring a positive and professional experience for customers at all times. You will act as a central point of contact, managing customer interactions, processing orders, and working closely with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising daily with internal departments to support customer needs
  • Processing customer orders, contracts, and transactions accurately
  • Preparing quotations, presentations, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinating with customers regarding deliveries and order status
  • Responding promptly to customer queries and complaints, ensuring resolution and accurate system logging
  • Managing individual and shared customer service queues
  • Maintaining and updating customer data records
  • Proactively managing relationships with assigned key account customers
  • Identifying trends in customer satisfaction and escalating where necessary
  • Managing workload effectively while working collaboratively within the team
  • Adhering to company policies and maintaining professionalism in all communications

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service or customer-centric environment, with industry knowledge considered an advantage. You will bring strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to work accurately, methodically, and with excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and time‑management skills are essential, along with a proactive and customer‑focused mindset. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and driven, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Confidence using computer systems and general office software is also required.
