Corporate Finance Manager Job - M&A - Top 10 - Dublin

Their corporate finance team is growing and they need an ambitious professional to join as Corporate Finance Manager to manage engagements and mentor juniors.

Your new role
You will join a Corporate Finance team of 9 people, reporting into a director and managing 3 juniors (newly and part-qualified). This is a really broad role in corporate finance where you will get exposure to M&A (buy and sell side), business valuations, corporate restructuring and debt advisory. Your client portfolio will be a mix of SME Irish companies and larger multinational organisations, giving you a great breadth of exposure,

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Manage the completion of Corporate Finance engagements
  • Prepare and review detailed financial analysis and valuations on a variety of businesses across different industries.
  • Participate in transaction and contract negotiation along with the lead partner, providing strategic advice to clients
  • Supervision and mentoring of junior staff on a day-to-day basis, including on the job training and carrying out performance initiatives/reviews
  • Lead and manage relevant project teams and workflow plans, delivering high-quality client service within tight timelines.
  • Attend and present at client meetings, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Proactively manage WIP / Debtor Ledger
  • Proactively develop new and existing client portfolios and manage relationships with key intermediaries.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Fully qualified Chartered or Certified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA)
  • Experience in a corporate finance or audit background in big 4/top 10 firm in Ireland
  • Strong M&A experience, especially on the buy side, extremely advantageous for this role
  • Financial Modelling skillset including previous experience in preparing financial projections
  • Previous experience mentoring/leading juniors on engagements
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service at all times and to tight timescales

What You'll Get In Return
