Your new company
As Business Manager, you will join one of the largest global insurers within their strategy department. Your new office is located in D1 and is accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team on a 14-month FTC. You will have a hybrid work model.
Your new role
As Business Manager, you will provide analysis, advice and direction on core business activities to deliver on key strategic priorities.
Your duties will include but are limited to:
- Supporting the CEO to prepare for key business meetings and events.
- Providing briefings, presentations and summaries/critiques of key business documents for the CEO
- Supporting the CEO to deliver on key business priorities and objectives
- Offer advice and support to the CEO
- Act as a point of contact for business queries from other stakeholders, but internal and external
- Organise executive away days and other similar events
- Supporting the preparation of annual plans, delivering high quality reporting and providing market insights
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have 5+ years of relevant experience in the insurance and financial services markets; a relevant qualification is desirable. A deep understanding of the insurance sector, including customer needs, key technical functions and high-level governance requirements is required. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to understand, assimilate and act ion complex issues is required. Strong report-writing, project management and attention to detail with a delivery-focused mindset are required.
