Salary
€50,000 – €55,000 per annum (DOE)
Location
Large‑scale private property Dublin
Shift pattern operating on a rota basis:
- 08:00 – 16:00
- 10:00 – 18:00
Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day upkeep of a large private property. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing planned and reactive maintenance works across a broad range of trades, ensuring the property is maintained to a high standard at all times.
A carpentry trade background is highly advantageous. However, candidates with strong multi‑trade experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general building and maintenance works across the estate
- Perform carpentry repairs including doors, flooring, fittings, cabinetry, and finish work
- Undertake basic plumbing tasks (leaks, fittings, fixtures, isolation, minor repairs)
- Carry out minor electrical maintenance (lamp changes, socket repairs, fault reporting – within safe scope)
- Support painting, decorating, patching, and cosmetic repairs
- Conduct routine inspections and proactive maintenance
- Respond to reactive maintenance call‑outs as required
- Liaise with external contractors when specialist works are required
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintain tools, materials, and a clean work environment
- Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Proven experience in a multi‑skilled maintenance role
- Carpentry trade background is highly advantageous.
- Strong hands‑on ability across multiple trades
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- High attention to detail and pride in quality construction
- Good problem‑solving skills
- Full, clean driving licence
- Own transport required
Desirable
- Experience working within large private estates or high‑end residential properties
- Familiarity with working in occupied or sensitive environments
- Trade qualifications or time‑served background
