Your new company
An established SME accountancy practice for over 90 years, based in Dublin South are seeking an experienced Audit Senior/Practice Accountant to join their team. A 2-partner firm that prides themselves on their excellent commitment to their long-standing customers and who can offer a qualified accountant variety in their role across audit, accounts prep, tax compliance and any other ad-hoc projects that come up with their clients.

NB: Experience in a small-medium Irish practice is essential for this role.
Your new role
You will report into a partner and your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Managing client relationships, establishing key contacts, resolving queries, identifying opportunities for additional services and advising on solutions
Assist with training of junior staff, reviewing of their work and ensuring projects are tracking to budget
Assist with the planning of audits and accounting assignments
Prepare draft accounts/report and completion memo (including identification of control weaknesses or areas of improvement) for review by manager.

What you'll need to succeed
- You must be a fully qualified accountant with experience in a small to medium Irish practice
- Broad experience across audit engagements, accounts prep, financial statement prep
- Strong technical knowledge of FRS101/102
- People management experience and a passion for developing junior staff would be preferred
- Really strong communication skills with the ability to emphasise with and build strong client relationships
- A desire to commit to the firm long-term and grow with them
