Our client is a leading organisation within the utilities industry. They are committed to growth. Innovation and sustainability continues to be top of their agenda. They now require a Supply Chain & Tender Administrator to join their team in Cork on a temporary basis.
Your new role
The job involves supporting the Supply Chain team in various tasks, including developing sustainable procurement processes, conducting sustainability assessments of suppliers, administering tenders, maintaining data systems, and assisting in the development of data analytics dashboards. Additionally, the role requires coordinating the redevelopment of internal collateral such as standard operating procedures and tendering templates.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Aptitude for systems and data
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of data analytics tools is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of public procurement would be advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to drive and manage concise projects while balancing day-to-day workload
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn
- Flexible in regard to working in a changing environment and the ability to adjust to new work structures, processes, and requirements as necessary.
- Proven effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and remain focused
