Maintenance Electrician (Static Role – South Dublin)
Your New Company
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team at a large operational site in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant, equipment, and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on plant and site infrastructure
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance in line with maintenance schedules
- Diagnose electrical faults on motors, panels, drives, lighting, and power distribution systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with electrical regulations, site safety rules, and permit systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and reliability improvements
- Record maintenance activities using CMMS or maintenance logs
- Liaise with operations, supervisors, and contractors as required
Requirements
- Qualified electrician (National Craft Certificate or equivalent)
- Valid Safe Electric / electrical certification
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting experience
- Industrial or utilities maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to work shifts / on-call as required
- Strong safety mindset and team-oriented approach
