Your New Role
As a Structural Engineer with 3–5 years of experience, you will contribute to the design and delivery of a range of residential and commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Producing detailed structural designs using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, Tekla, Robot, SCIA, etc.)
  • Collaborating with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction progress
  • Preparing technical reports, specifications, and planning documentation
  • Supporting junior engineers and contributing to a positive team culture

What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A degree in Structural Engineering (Level 8 or higher)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a consultancy or design office
  • Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and Eurocodes
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and organised approach to project delivery
  • Progress toward chartership with Engineers Ireland will be a distinct advantage.
