An excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a national organisation offering hybrid

Your new role
As a Payroll Specialist within the Finance Transaction Services team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll for all staff. Working closely with the Payroll Manager, you will manage payroll operations, time and attendance processing, expenses, and related reporting activities.

Your duties will include:
  • Processing payroll accurately and on time for all employees
  • Managing employee expenses in line with company policy
  • Issuing payslips and remittance advices
  • Reconciling data between HR and payroll systems
  • Ensuring full compliance with Revenue and Social Welfare legislation
  • Preparing reconciliations and statutory returns, including pension and CSO submissions
  • Responding to queries from management, employees, HR, pensioners, and external agencies
  • Supporting users on the MyWork system for time, leave, and expenses
  • Producing payroll and expense reports for cashflow forecasting
  • Generating payroll and expense interfaces for month-end
  • Monitoring adherence to service level agreements
  • Participating in system upgrades and identifying opportunities to streamline processes

What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum of 1 years’ payroll processing experience
  • A relevant third-level payroll, financial qualification or IPASS qualification is ideal.
  • Experience using Oracle systems (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of Revenue rules, tax legislation, and Social Welfare requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with proven experience meeting tight deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
