Tenancy Retention Officer – Mayo/ Leitrim
Your new company
Your new organisation is a respected national provider within the housing and social support sector, delivering structured services to individuals transitioning into long-term tenancies. With a strong operational framework and collaborative approach, the organisation works closely with statutory and community partners to ensure sustainable tenancy outcomes and effective service delivery across its regions.
Your new role
As a Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you will support the delivery of a regional tenancy support service across Mayo and Leitrim, ensuring tenants are effectively onboarded into their homes and provided with ongoing, structured support to maintain their tenancies.
This role involves managing a caseload, carrying out needs assessments, and developing tailored support plans aligned with organisational standards. You will act as a key point of contact for tenants while coordinating with external stakeholders, including health services, local authorities, and community organisations, to ensure a consistent and joined-up approach.
You will also be responsible for monitoring tenant engagement, supporting compliance with tenancy agreements, and contributing to reporting and service evaluation requirements. This is a field-based role with a strong focus on service coordination, relationship management, and outcome tracking.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will have a relevant qualification in social care or a related discipline, along with experience working in a structured support, case management, or service delivery environment.
You will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational and caseload management skills
- Experience in assessment, planning, and structured support delivery
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across multiple services
- Excellent communication, reporting, and administrative skills
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
This role is particularly well suited to someone from a social care or healthcare background looking to move into a more structured, planned, and business-support driven environment, including those transitioning from clinical roles such as mental health nursing.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, alongside the opportunity to work within a well-structured organisation that emphasises professional development, service quality, and operational consistency.
The role offers a strong balance of autonomy and support, with clear processes, reporting structures, and opportunities to further develop your skills in coordination, stakeholder engagement, and service delivery.
