Your new role
In your new role as a Social Care Worker, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualised placement plans for those in your care benefitting both them and their families. You will avail of the resources your company provides its care teams to provide quality, child-led services. You will work directly with young people in residential settings and support them in their academic, physical, and emotional development and ensuring all their needs are met. Your new role also requires administrative duties and responsibilities pertaining to the progression practice and implementation of placement plan objectives for young people. You will also advocate on behalf of your team for personal training and development to allow the highest quality of care.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new role as a Social Care Worker, you will have a minimum QQI Level 7 in Community Care/ Social Care/ Social Work/ Applied Social Studies/ Youth Work or related field. You will be available to work 24 hour shifts and should have a full driver’s licence. You will have knowledge of child protection legislation and a calm, welcoming and patient attitude.
