Site Agent – Civils & Infrastructure - North Dublin / Meath – Salary OR Hourly Paid

You will be joining a well‑established civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Ireland. With new phases commencing in the North Dublin / Meath region, the organisation is strengthening its project delivery teams and offering long‑term stability for experienced Site Agents who value structure, accountability, and high‑performance project environments.

Your new role


As a Site Agent, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day project delivery across active civils and utilities works in North Dublin / Meath areas. You will oversee engineering, planning, coordination, and site management to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
This role can be offered on a salary package or hourly rate, depending on your preference.

Selection of Duties

  • Lead the on‑site delivery of civils and utilities works.
  • Manage site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Plan, programme, and sequence works to meet project milestones.
  • Oversee quality control, compliance, and technical standards.
  • Identify risks, constraints, and operational issues early.
  • Ensure all works adhere to safety procedures and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, permits, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers, designers, and client representatives.
  • Support procurement, resource planning, and cost control.


What you'll need to succeed


  • Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer on civil engineering projects.
  • Strong background in roads, utilities, drainage, or water/wastewater infrastructure.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts and drive project progress.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
  • Up‑to‑date industry training and relevant certifications.
  • Flexibility to work across the North Dublin / Meath project cluster.


What you'll get in return

Long‑term stability with a contractor delivering major infrastructure projects with a choice of salary package or hourly rate.

Hourly Rates are on offer are in the region of €50 - €60 (This equates to a salary of €75,000 - €95,000 depending on hours worked) - PAYE or self‑employed options available.

Salaried options being offered in the region of €90,000 - €100,000 +
Salary packages may include vehicle/allowance, pension, bonuses, and additional benefits.

You also can expect regular performance reviews and opportunities for increased responsibility.
