Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist | Dublin South

An excellent opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a Semi State body on a permanent basis. Your new role

In this role, you will open up new and diverse talent pools to ensure that the company can continue to deliver on their strategic objectives. The main responsibilities of this role will be the end-to-end talent acquisition process from role approval through to contract acceptance. You will partner with the hiring managers to deliver on their resourcing requirements, ensuring a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates throughout the process. Key to success in the role will be the ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments in a fast-paced environment to agreed KPIs, delivering a high level of service to the business.
You will manage a broad range of technical and business vacancies up to and including senior professional level. You will ensure the selection of high quality candidates complies with employment legislation, best practice and company policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Open up diverse talent pools in order to successfully close current vacancies whilst creating future talent pipelines for the business, using advanced levels of direct sourcing in addition to working with agency partners
  • Ensure the hiring process runs effectively and efficiently to deliver a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates
  • Become an expert in the operation of our recruitment and selection procedures to ensure successful outcomes; applying a self-audit approach to ensure compliance whilst progressing roles in a timely manner
  • Early engagement with the hiring manager to understand business areas and role requirements, finalising resource plans to successfully fill open vacancies
  • Ensure timely review of CVs, longlisting and shortlisting processes, manage the interview process and the resultant offer process for all assigned roles
  • Ensure hiring KPIs are met consistently by sourcing the right candidates for a broad range of roles across a number of disciplines up to senior level
  • Support the team in continuously improving the recruitment process in line with business demands and market trends
  • Provide quality regular management updates on Talent Acquisition and employment trends
  • Work with the team to leverage digital, social media and other channels to create, drive and maintain attractive employer branding
  • Engage effectively with all stakeholders in the talent acquisition process

What you'll need to succeed

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Relevant degree typically with 5+ years’ experience
  • Demonstrated experience of managing multiple recruitment assignments up to senior level in a fast-paced environment
  • Developed knowledge of effective resourcing strategies including use of social media channels to source candidates
  • Successful track record of delivering cost-effective resourcing solutions
  • Ability to establish strong business relationships with stakeholders across different functions
  • Experience managing hiring processes which attract a diverse range of candidates from across the Globe
  • Advanced level experience using full functionality of applicant tracking system (Candidate Manager preferable)
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with all levels across the business
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing demands
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced professional environment
