Senior Structural Engineer

Your new company
Our new company is a well-established multi-disciplinary Engineering, Environmental and Project Management Consultancy based in Dublin. They have over 40+ years of proven expertise across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, leisure, marine, residential, retail, and urban development. They have offices in Dublin, Waterford and Galway, their expertise includes civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, marine, project management and BIM specialist services. They are now looking for a Senior
Structural
Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to assist with the increased workload.


Your new role
In your new position, Strong analytical skills will be necessary for you to work on a variety of industrial, institutional and commercial initiatives in Ireland and abroad. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly qualified engineer with the ability to deliver projects. They should be ambitious with the aspiration to progress to senior management where they can contribute to the efficient management of the business, including involvement in the formulation and implementation of its strategy. The position will involve client relationship management, with a focus on retaining current clients and attracting new ones.

What you'll need to succeed
  • The minimum requirement for this role is a Level 8 Honour Bachelors Degree (A masters degree/level 9 would be an advantage).
    . A minimum of 8 years of postgraduate experience is required, ideally in a consulting role.

  • You should be a Chartered Engineer to be considered for this role (or close to chartership).
  • You will be able to take charge of technical problems and exhibit a cooperative team-working attitude.
  • Your ability to communicate well both orally and in writing will enable you to work productively with individuals of diverse levels and backgrounds.
  • You will have expertise interacting, speaking, and liaising with clients.
  • Having knowledge of some civil factors, such as site development, attenuation, and drainage would be a distinct advantage
