Legal Secretary – Up to €50k DOE - Dublin 2

Your new role

An established, full-service commercial law firm based in Dublin is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Projects and Construction team. Your responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to a busy legal team
  • Manage files throughout their life cycle using a legal case management system
  • Maintain and update case files, including document handling and correspondence
  • Prepare documentation and materials for meetings, both internal and client-facing
  • Support the monthly billing process, ensuring accuracy and timely issuance of invoices
  • Coordinate diary schedules, ensuring efficient time management and no conflicts
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to respond to requirements
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in document production, collaborating with specialists where needed
  • Organise travel arrangements and detailed itineraries
  • Process time records and expense submissions
  • Provide a professional point of contact for clients and visitors


What you'll need to succeed

  • 3–5+ years’ experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within projects or construction
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders within a legal environment
  • Familiarity with legal case management systems (e.g. iManage or similar)
  • Experience using billing platforms (e.g. KeyHouse or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • A proactive, positive approach and ability to work well under pressure
